Send your used Filson clothing or bags back to us. In exchange for qualifying items, we’ll give you a gift card for use in any of our stores or on Filson.com. Items that don’t qualify for credit will be properly disposed of, recycled, or sent back to you.

Would You Prefer to Repair It?

Filson products with minor tears or holes, missing snaps or buttons, or frayed cuffs can often be repaired to keep them in service for you. Our expert repairs team performs over 6,500 repairs annually and may be able extend the useful life of your Filson product.

Can I trade-in any type of Filson product?

Almost, but not everything. Accessories like Care Products, Bandanas & Scarves, Socks, Hats, Knives & Tools, Patches, Liners & Hoods, Suspenders, Gloves and Footwear are not elibigle. Collaboration items are also considered ineligible for trade-in.

Where can I trade-in my used Filson products?

Trade-ins can be mailed directly to us using our trade-in portal or brought to participating Filson retail locations. Non-Participating locations include Canadian retail stores and Filson Outlet stores.

What condition do the items need to be in before I trade them in?

We only accept items that are in good condition and functional according to their original design. Please inspect your items for damage, debris, discoloration, or belongings in pockets. Please make sure to clean every item before trading it in. Any customization (including but not limited to hemming, engraving, debossing or any alterations) will not qualify for trade-in.

How much will my gift-card be worth?

You will receive credit for every eligible item you send us. As part of the online trade-in journey, you can view an estimate of how much you will receive for your item(s), so please ensure you are comfortable with the estimates before sending in your products. Unfortunately, if our system is unable to generate a quote for you that means the item is currently not eligible for trade-in. We periodically review item eligibility and hope to expand our list of accepted items in the future.

While we are unable to make a manual exception, we invite you to check back at a later time to see if your item becomes eligible!

Items that are not eligible will be mailed back to you if you opt to have them returned.
