Pulled from the archives, our Forestry Cloth Cruiser’s history traces back to our 1920s catalogs. The worsted wool is woven from tightly twisted yards for excellent wind resistance and durability in a midweight fabric. When paired with our Forestry Cloth pants, old-timers knew it as the “Alaskan Tuxedo.” The design closely replicates our original 1914-patented Cruiser, right down to the shape and configuration of the pockets. Four front cargo pockets and a full-width pass-through rear pocket cover most of the torso with two layers of the hard-wearing wool. Pockets on the front left feature layered compass and slotted-utility pockets. The lower cargo pockets double as handwarmers. Snap-front closure and button-adjustable cuffs. We’ve recently found a top-grade supplier capable of milling this wool to our exact specifications, and are pleased to reintroduce this icon.
