The leg holes fit over bulky boots, and the rise is slightly higher than typical straight-leg jeans for more ease of motion. The heavy-duty zippered fly and metal wreath-button waist closure ensure longevity. The waistband features sturdy bar-tacked belt loops and a washable leather Filson logo patch. We searched the globe for the right material–denim fabric that would live up to our legacy of durable clothing. Because we know that it’s frustrating to have pockets blow out while there’s still plenty of life left in a pair of jeans, we added double-layer reinforcing to the bottoms of the rear pockets and the heavy-duty front pocket bags.
